Seeing my name in the second tri made me cry. This has been a rough road for me but I am feeling excited thinking I will have a baby around Thanksgiving.

We will do a crib. But a bassinet or pack and play the first month or two. I'm started to plan nursery. I'm thinking transportation, trains, cars, etc.

Next week I have second tri blood draw.

Next OB appt 6/21. Supposed to have my 2nd blood draw for the sequential screening sometime around 6/25.

Q: I think we are going to do crib and pack-and-play. Don't think we'll go with a bassinet but we'll see

Hello! Nothing new to report here. I have an obgyn appointment tomorrow and my anatomy scan on 6/28. I'm anxious for a confirmation that this is indeed a girl. (our HR person was told girl at 18 weeks and then boy at 20, so now I'm nervous b/c I've bought some pink stuff. ) Either way we'll be happy!

QOTW: Crib or Bassinet? If you have one picked out please share extra credit for pics:) We have Ethan's crib from when he as a baby and we will use it for this baby too. We bought E a new full bed that he's been in for about 3 weeks. We did use a bassinet for the first 2 months and will probably do that again.

Hello! Just had my 22week appointment and everything looks good! My 2nd tri blood work came back normal and nothing was brought up to be problematic! In another four weeks ill have my follow up u/s she wasn't cooperating the first time and glucose test. Otherwise, just trucking along!

QOTW: we're doing a crib. It's a Sheffield that we bought from Buy Buy Baby...beautiful and matches the armoire that we already have in there! No bassinet, but may do a rock n play or something...although there's really no real reason, as the baby's room is literally three feet from our door...well see!

Just got back from our A/S! Everything looks perfect and healthy and strong. I saw a tiny heartbeat, arms, legs, fingers, toes. It was amazing! I should be working right now but can't wipe the silly grin off my face long enough to look professional!

We're having a boy!!! I've been convinced all along that we were having a girl, but turns out I was wrong (wrong, but not disappointed!). DH cried.

QOTW: We've been really fortunate. DH's brother and SIL have been saving their crib for us, so we just set that up in the nursery. Another friend is gifting us her gently used co-sleeper. Since I want to BF we'll use that in our bedroom for the first few weeks/months until everyone gets settled into a routine.

Hi ladies!

22 weeks this week and feeling this little boy kick and punch a lot more now, I LOVE it! I finally felt him on the outside yesterday too which was so cool. MH wasn't around, but I'm hoping he'll be able to feel him really soon as well.

I had horrible RLP last week that concerned me, but all is fine and although it was really uncomfortable, it passed and I'm feeling much better now.

We've started our registry and are ordering the nursery furniture soon, I can't believe I'm in the 2nd half of this pregnancy, time is flying by!

QOTW: We're going to have Hunter sleep in our room in a bassinet or co-sleeper for the first several months before we move him to his nursery. So we'll have both a crib and a bassinet. Here is the crib and dresser we're going with. The crib will convert into a toddler bed and then a full bed too which we like.

Hi luvboston! Could you please add me? I still can't believe I've made it to the second tri. I'm due 12/12/13 with twins. I'm 13w5d. I think we're going to try to stay team green, but not sure if that's possible with as many ultrasounds as we will have throughout the pregnancy for monitoring. Since they're identical, we're either having B/B or G/G.

We're going to have cribs in the nursery, but I think we're going to try to have the babies in our master for the first while. I'm completely overwhelmed with the options and not sure what we will get for them to sleep in there. The rock-n-plays seem to be really popular with people, especially over on the multiples board, as a lifesaver for getting as much sleep as possible. On the other hand getting two pack-n-plays with a bassinet top seems like the best use of money, since we'd likely use p-n-p on down the road anyway when traveling or just to have a safe place for them to sit and play.

If we did a rock-n-play, would we still want a bouncer seat and swing, or would a rock-n-play do double duty for those functions? I clearly have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to baby stuff.

We'll actually have both. My family has a bassinet that everyone in the family has used and passed around. Then we'll be buying a crib that coverts all the way to a full size bed.

Hi Ladies!

Wow 12/2 is a popular EDD! I had an OB appointment on Friday, it was only about 10 min long! just weight, BP, doppler and any questions I had. We have our A/S on July 9th!

QOTW: My family members with babies swear by the rock n play for the first few months so we will probably get one of those followed up by a crib.

Hi ladies! I updated about my A/S a few posts down. Overall a good appointment and our little guy is doing great! I have another appointment in two weeks and another u/s the week after.

I feel great for the most part aside from some swelling which stinks.

We plan to have him in his room from the beginning (PLAN. HAHA!) Our back-up plan is rock n' play for 6 weeks.

Hi lovely ladies,

We had our MFM appt last week and it went very well. We also got to see that we are having two boys We see our regular OB on Monday for just a check up. I can't believe I am already half way thru the pregnancy. The goal is to deliver at 36 weeks.

QWOT: We have a basinett for when the boys first come home and then we have two cribs.

We're planning on all 3 Embarrassed

Hi Ladies! Happy Tuesday to all of you! Not much going on here. I have my OB appointment a week from Today. I have been having some RLP but other then that everything seems to be going great!

My sister and BF swear by the Rock N Play... so we will get that for the first couple of months. I plan on having her in our room for the first month or so, then move the pnp into her room. We have been looking at cribs. I really LOVE this one by Kathy Ireland. I love the vintage and old school crib look. It does convert to a toddler bed and a twin bed.

Hi Ladies! Having a rough day today, just started crying this morning feeling sad, overwhelmed, upset, lonely. Sigh it was horrible and I hope I don't have to repeat it anytime soon. Was at work, had to leave for a while. It was just yuck!

BUT I love check in so I am glad this is today! We are planning on his crib. (Graco Lauren) and the matching Graco dresser. We also are going to get this Rock N Play! Can't wait!!! We already have the crib, we got it on such good deal!

Good evening ladies. It's hard to believe I'll be half way tomorrow (with twins I've already been told that they won't let me go past 38 weeks if I even make it that far). We had our anatomy scan on Friday and everything looks great. Both babies are healthy and doing great. We found out that we are having a boy AND a girl - Ember Mae & Isaac Erwin.

My next OB appt is July 2nd. We have a growth scan and fetal echo of baby A on July 3rd, and fetal echo of baby B on July 18th.

QOTW: We are getting 2 used cribs and mattresses from a co-worker (his twin boys just turned 2 and have moved into toddler beds). We are registering for 2 rock n plays for our bedroom. And a basic pack n play for the basement living room and for when they get bigger.

I'm here, and halfbaked! Our a/s on Friday was great! We have a fetal echo in 4 weeks as a precaution because of ivf I'm just excited to get another peek at the little guy!

No other updates really. Found out I have an anterior placenta, and doc said it could be 34 weeks before I feel anything sad! Besides peeing every 30 minutes and eating a ton, I don't have many symptoms and feel pretty good.

We plan to use a co sleeper or rock n play for maybe the first 3 months? Then transition to the crib. We are getting the Walmart parklane crib I love it! Can't wait to order it. Our dresser comes this weekend!

Hi ladies! We found out this week that we are having a little girl!! I was sure it was a boy for some reason, so I was pretty shocked even though I know that my chances are 50/50!

We will be doing a rock n'play for the first 6 weeks or so and then a crib. My sister couldn't stop raving about the rock n'play with her fussy sleeper, so I hope it's as effective for me and my LO.

Found out this past weekend our twins are boy/girl (go team purple!). We are so excited!!

I went yesterday for my first cervical length check, which i will now do every two weeks. So far, so good. It is at 4.5.

Other than that, just getting ready for my vacation to FL next week. This will probably be our last vacation for quite some time and due to all the IF treatments, first vaca since 2011! Def needed!

(Finally) had our a/s and another visit with our MFM this morning -- it's been a looong 7 weeks! Both girls are continuing to do well and everything measured on-target. Baby A is estimated to be 1 lb and baby B is estimated to be 15 ounces. It was amazing to see all the details of the brain, heart, and other internal organs (scientist me was definitely nerding out and it helped that we had a sonographer who pointed out all the details and explained why various things were being measured).

QOTW: We're doing cribs in the nursery (white Jenny Lind style) and Rock n Plays in our bedroom (we'll see how it goes with having them sleep in our room, we may end up transitioning them over to their cribs sooner than anticipated).
