Exercise observation

I just had to share this because it amused me. One of our neighbors has ten month old triplets. The father regularly jogs with them in a triple wide jogging stroller. I just saw him jogging by and not far behind him was the family that "walks" in their golf cart most evenings. Amusing juxtaposition.

  • Where do you live that you can drive a cart on the road? Are you in peach tree city??? Just wondering since me and my boys own a golf cart and dream of living someplace we can drive it on the roads!!

  • We are in SC. I am not sure if it is legal but they just drive it around our neighborhood and the neighborhood across the street. There is not a lot of traffic so I guess even if it isn't legal the cops don't care.

I love Peachtree City, I used to live there. I thought it was the neatest thing that you could drive your golf cart pretty much anywhere. Stores had specialized golf cart parking spaces and on really busy roads they had their own golf cart road next to the main road. We moved about 2 weeks after we found out we were pregnant, so sad.

WOW my husband is obsessed with moving there! If we ever got there he'd never leave. He even got a welcome kit from peach tree. Is it really as nice as it seems? We just got the rear seat in the mail today for our cart so we can take it camping.

    .

It is a really cute town. There are a lot of new business buildings and buildings that have been there for a while still have a classy feel. Basically, it doesn't look run down. The city cares about it's appearance. You can imagine that because it's a desirable town home prices are more expensive than neighboring towns. Neighboring towns however do not live the golf cart lifestyle that PTC does. I don't know how far away you live from Atlanta but PTC is only about 30 minutes away. You can take the kids to Zoo Atlanta, the aquarium or a Braves game :)
