LO wasn't cooperating for our scan! We weren't able to get any head measurements or see the face & legs were crossed with the cord between them so we also didn't get the sex!! We won't find out for 4 more weeks what we're having or if little head is OK. There was lots of movement so I'm sure everything is great - I just really wanted to find out what LO is today!

Boo I'm sure that's a little disappointing. We thought everything was fine, but when I went to the docs on Friday, the OB said I have to go back in 4 weeks because they didn't get a good enough shot of the head or the spine. I saw them measuring the head and all, so I'm trying not to think much into it. Just think, in 4 more weeks they'll be even bigger and more developed!

You could always opt for an elective ultrasound at an imaging place if you don't want to wait 4 Weeks to know the sex.

That happened at mine too. The tech said to come back in four weeks...well that was two weeks ago and they're making me wait another four. We were disappointed too and wanted to start planning so we did an elective and I'm sooo glad we did!

I've considered it. We're planning to do a 3D ultrasound closer to the end so I'm trying to be a big girl and be patient... we'll see how I feel in another week. I really want to hit up the garage sales and find some cheap stuff!!

Aw, bummer.

With DD2 they got everything but the sex. So we were either going to be team green or go with an elective. We went with an elective but even then the tech had to work for it. It is a good story to tell.

Sorry, the same thing happened to me during my first scan. They said they could get her face. Now I have to go do a second anatomy scan. Oh and I say maybe girl..I am expecting a girl and she was laying face down..and would not turn..stubborn little girl

Sorry that happened my little girl didn't want to cooperate in regards to the heart and umbilical insertion so I have to go back in 4 weeks to! While we did find out the sex she seemed unsure but then in the report said she was 80 sure...so who knows I'm going with girl for now! But will keep all of my receipts just in case!

My baby girl didn't cooperate at first either. I was determined to wait 4 weeks til the next scheduled appointment. But I caved...got an elective 2 days later! It was so worth it to me.

My baby also didn't cooperative the first time for the A/S. I decided to do an elective two weeks later.They had a package where they did a free gender determination if I booked a higher package for later, which I was planning to do anyway. The baby was very clearly a girl at the elective.

My anatomy scan took 2 hours because baby boy wouldn't give the doctor a clear look at his heart. He fell fast asleep on his belly. She kept saying "you might have to come back", I told her I wasn't leaving until we got it. They made me wait 40 minutes after my appointment time, so I didn't feel bad making her work for it. She got it eventually!

I believe that's a girl thing. My cousin had the same issue with her baby she crossed her legs... Unlike my son he had his manhood on display and repeatedly showed it off my boyfriend thought it was hilarious smh I am going to make sure he keeps it in his pants!
