Hearing Tomorrow, cross your fingers...

We have the hearing tomorrow to possibly dissolve the restraining order and decide a temporary visitation order. Cross your fingers it goes well. Our attorney is putting BM on the stand, and two CPS caseworkers have been subpoenaed. He says worst case scenario we have to settle for BM getting family supervised visitation. DH told him that was unacceptable because 'alleged abuse' occurred at said family's home and last time said family member was the supervisor and she failed to follow the order. So our attorney said, 'Ok,' and that we would settle for nothing less than court liaison supervised visits or visits supervised by DH.

Please wish us luck. Lots of thoughts and prayers, please. I know I need to just trust our attorney, but it is so hard for me not to just type up what he needs to do.and give it to him. I am such a control freak.

Ugh! Lord, please help us through tomorrow!

    I know how you feel, I'm a super control freak sometimes. All you can do is be 100 percent prepared and then let the chips fall where they may. Good luck!

    I feel like that with DH's attorney. THoughts, prayers and good luck to you tomorrow!! Your situation sounds a lot like what DH's attorney is going for. including the part where supervised can't be done by family b/c they didn't follow.

    I am sure you have answered all my stupid questions before but is there anything you guys could offer her to make her give up her rights? I hate you have to go through this b

    We almost got her to agree to that, Littlejen, last time she was out from under her parents. But then ahe got kicked out of her friend's house and had to go back to them so they got involved.

    If we could get visitation supervised by DH we could probably talk her into it if her parents are not around. I could only hope.

    I am hoping she will not show tomorrow and the judge will issue a default judgement on everything. Apparently she has been in our town. I am not the only one who has seen her on more than one occasion. So maybe she has gotten away from her parents again...
