How did y'all get your LO's to drink water????

I am seriously getting concerned about K getting dehydrated because he refuses to drink anything but his formula. He MIGHT take a tiny bit of water if I put my finger over the end of a straw and dribble it in his mouth, or if I hive him a small piece of ice, but that's it. And now that we are decreasing the # of oz per bottle, my concern is growing.

We have tried warm water, cold water, water mixed with juice, plain juice, warm juice, water with a tiny bit of formula. Nothing works. HELP!

    Formula should give him all the hydration he needs right now, so I wouldn't worry too too much about that.

    Is he not drinking it because he doesn't know how to use the sippy cup?  Or does he know how but just doesn't want it?

    He recently started taking his formula out of the sippy (progress!), so that's not it. He just doesn't like water. I have even tried putting it in his bottle (I know, taking a step back) and he spits it out and gets mad.

    I put ice and a couple slices of cucumber in Emily's sippy and she LOOOOOOOOVES it!
