separation anxiety....

My DD is almost 5 months & she is showing signs of separation anxiety at church. She been going to the church nursery since she was 6 weeks old every Sunday & Wednesday but the past 2 weeks she has been balling her eyes when I leave her. Is anyone else experiencing this????? I will admit she is only around me, her big sister, & grandmother on a daily basis but she will be starting school in August.

    My 3 month old does NOT like to not have me in range of sight. He's only around me all day, and I assume that contributes, but it might also be a milestone/age/growing up thing...

    DD wouldn't let anyone but me hold her from day 1. DS, on the other hand, is happy with anyone. FWIW, DD at 2.5 yrs, is still a mommy's girl. It might just be LO's personality.

    yeah, my son does the same thing when we leave him with his grandmother that he doesnt see very often...he balls his eyes out once he realizes that me or his dad aren't there...could be separation anxiety or could just be a growth supr. every baby is different :)

    DS does the same thing but he gets over it pretty quickly and he just kind of whimpers. He is just a mommas boy so far! Except at d/c, he goes there with no issues.

    My LO turns 5 months this week and I believe she is showing signs of this as well. When I hand her off to anyone she sort of starts to whimper and look over at me . This morning she did it at daycare, so I just decided me standing there was not helping and I just had to leave.
