Start scouting thrift stores, consignment store sales and garage sales. You can find lots of baby stuff for cheap. Just becareful with buying a used crib [and other items] because there have been so many recalls. You can usually get a free carseat through social services if you qualify. Check craigslist and free cycle, too. Also look into wic, I think you can get it while pregnant.
Not for nothing, but it looks like you just signed up within the last 30 minutes and you're already trying to get free stuff? I get how it can be scary, but you need to look around on craigslist or facebook resale groups or something for used items. People that don't even know you aren't going to just give you things.

And the number of things you think you need vs the things that you really need are totally different, so that may be something to keep in mind when budgeting.
