The only name DH and I have agreed on for DD2 is Violet Lucille. Is it too cutesie and childish? I just don't know if I can picture an adult named Violet, but he loves the name so I'm trying to be open minded.
I absolutely love the name Violet and definitely picture it aging well. The first thing i thought of when i thought of an older lady named that was Maggie Smith's character on Downton named Violet. :-)

Love the name - it's really sweet, I think. Besides, even if your next DD has some spunk to her, Graceful's reference of Maggie Smith's character is an example of someone suited so well with the name that I think it would work out nmw.

None taken! The only reason we are using Lucille is because it's a family name on his side. I'm not the biggest fan of it either, lol!
Thank you all for the responses!!

I like both names. My grandma's name was Lucille and she was a spitfire!
