Hi all! I haven't posted here in a while...I've been busy adjusting to being a new mom and then working full-time with an infant. I'm a teacher and on summer break now, so I'm hoping to be around a lot more!
My story: I joined TTCAL in 9/10 after the loss of our son, Eliott, at 37 weeks. After his loss, we discovered that we both had IF issues and were given less than a 1% chance of conceiving naturally. We did 4 IUIs (one resulted in an early loss), 1 IVF (BFN) and had a surprise pregnancy that ended in another early loss. I got a surprise BFP in March '12, and with lovenox, BA, and acupuncture, made it to 38 weeks when I was induced. Our daughter L is now 6 months old.

Mom to Eliott Alexander, born sleeping at 37 weeks on 8/13/10. Most of us only dream of angels - I held one in my arms.

i won't lie...it was HARD. For the first 2 months, I was exhausted the entire time. When I got home from work, I just wanted to sit down and rest but I couldn't because I'd have to take care of and play with L. I felt really guilty that I was so tired that it affected my attitude toward spending time with her. It got a lot easier though, and by the time we got out for break, we had a good routine down. Just be patient with yourself and your baby...it takes time but you will both adjust.
