Happy Monday, hope you all had a great weekend! What are your diet, mental health and/or exercise goals for the week?

QOTW : What are you most proud of right now?  

GTKY: Do you visit the farmer's market this time of year? What are your favorite things to buy or eat?

ETA2: Did you know there is a food and nutrition board here? I am usually on a mobile and for some reason it isn't listed as a board option there but when I'm on my computer I see it. Its pretty slow but could be a good board!

  • We had a good weekend! I was pretty good with my diet this weekend and didn't go overboard. I did indulge in some cookie dough ice cream but I kept it in check with a small portion. It was delish btw. 

    My goals for the week:

    -Baby bootcamp MWF

    -Walk with baby 3x

    -Ab exercises, lunges, pushups during commercials during my favorite shows.

    -Drink at least 2 nagalene bottles of water daily

    -Make at least 3 "clean" recipes 

    QOTW: I am most proud of being able to do regular pushups now. When I first started bootcamp, I could only do them on my knees but not I can do them on my feet. Not many but its still a big improvement!

    GTKY: Yes, I go to the farmer's market every Sunday usually. I love all the food, plants, and jewelry. Right now there isn't too much thats been harvested but I love getting my salad greens, asparagus, and my favorite peanut butter ever (Monkey boy flavor). Once July and August hit, I'm all about the berries.

  • I have one more scheduled boot camp class left this week.  When I have time and energy, I go for walks with the kiddos.  I'm also trying to drink at least one Nalgene bottle a day (pangnl, you drink 2!? One is 32oz...you go, girl!).  

    I am a swimmer at heart and have been missing the pool for a very long time.  I am taking the summer off for the second time in 13 long years. My town has a one hour daily lap swim that starts June 24th.  I already bought a new racing suit yesterday and am looking into apps to track my progress. I am so looking forward to it! 

    QOTW: I am so proud I got through boot camp without wimping out or developing physical problems that would force me to quit. 

    GTKY: There are some good farmers markets around here. They are on the weekends and I have not gone in years because I was working and too pooped to head out in the mornings.  I'm hoping to hit one at least two times this summer! I look forward to when the peaches are in season, mmmmm, pie and cobbler.

    Yup, thats the goal at least. I'm already down one today. Ever since I started working out I've had to drink at least two or else my supply drops dramatically. I tend to get dehydrated quickly.

    That is awesome about the swimming. Its something I've always wanted to get into but really never had the chance. Enjoy!

    Wow, that is something to be proud of! I know how hard it is to exercise with just one little guy but with two and doing it everyday? Rockstar.

    My goals for this week is continue with my 2nd week of insanity DVDs, drink at least 3 bottles of water a day, and really watch what I'm eating!
    I'm proud of my making time and following thru with working out lately.
    There is one farmers market really close to us but I haven't gone there yet. I hope I can go this weekend. I love fresh fruit especially strawberries, watermelon, and grapes! Yum!
