First ER visit...

So Rylan was playing in the living room right beside me. He was fine one minute and starts choking the next! I go to finger swipe him and I feel it but it just went right down is throat! I get up, call DH and head to the ER. DH calls and tells me to take him to the peds clinic first. I told him no because they will send him to the ER anyway. So I call the peds and they confirmed to go straight to the ER. Well DH calls back and says he called the peds and they told him to come up there. BS. So in the midst of me driving 80 to the ER and being severely stressed out, DH decides he needed to stress me out even more.
We get to the ER and they do an xray. Nothing showed up but the piece Im sure he swallowed was plastic and the doctor said it doesnt show up but he will be just fine.
Ugh! I am still sick to my stomach and shaking. I literally want ti choke my husband for making this even more stressful. Jesus, I feel bad enough that my kid choked on something and Im the one who pushed it down his throat. But calling me telling me what to do and asking 10000 questions isnt going to help. Okay Im done ranting. Its lunch here. Is that too early for a shot and a beer!? Ha!

    So scary! I'm glad that he is ok...

    I don't know if you do this but if I suspect that LO is choking I always tip him forward before doing a finger sweep, let gravity be your friend!!!

    You're a genius.  I don't know that I'd think of that.

    Mandie, I'm glad Rylan is okay.  So scary!

    OMG-I was stressed for you reading this!

    Sorry you had to deal with all this and DH too but so glad LO is okay.

    Being a parent is way too stressful sometimes!!!!
