My team green baby arrived! :)

Hi ladies! I went into labor on my due date at 10:00pm, and we had our little girl in our arms at 6:18am. It was a lot quicker than I ever could have expected, and so I have great respect for everyone who has marathon labors! I can't IMAGINE it, because it was certainly intense.

She was 9 pounds 12 oz at delivery and 21 inches at 40w1d! I knew my family made big babies, but we were still surprised. The nurse actually weighed her once and then said, "I'm going to tare the scale; she doesn't look that big." Smile

She has dark brown hair and long fingers. And whoever said big babies sleep longer never met our little one. But we're working on it!

ETA: She'll formally receive her name this coming Saturday at Shabbat morning services at our synagogue.  I'll share it then Smile
