Can't catch a break

DH is going in for knee surgery today to hopefully repair a long time injury from military duty that was exasperated by a sport injury. DH is the worst when it comes to being injured, he's such a baby! Lol! That means I'll be catering to the needs of 2 cranky children for the next 3 weeks. 1 who is teething and 1 who will be acting like he lost his leg.

Of course the surgery was postponed from the weekend, so I have to work today and I'm sitting in the waiting room hoping this can get done and I can get him home and still get myself to work. Then I have to pick up DD at daycare on my lunch, THEN get home and clean the whole house which looks like it was hit by a tornado toys, dishes, food, wrapping paper everywhere because my ILs were over this weekend and I had to work so nobody picked up after themselves ever.

This is going to be a loooong day. Who elses Monday is off to a bad start?

ETA: pardon any spelling or grammer errors, my phone doesn't like punctuation and bump mobile isn't my friend.

I'm sorry!! Knee surgeries are no fun!

DH has been working out of town for the past 3 months. He tries to come home one day a week but that's usually just at night for a few hours. He only has two weeks left but I woke up this morning so frustrated. I love DD but I am so worn out taking care of her by myself for the last few months.  I don't know how single parents do this!!

DH was away for training and came back just in time for surgery. I totally have to give my mom credit, she was a single mom from the time I was 8 and my sister was 2. I don't know how she did it. It's exhausting. Now I'll have to continue to do everything myself since he can only pick her up if he's sitting down and she crawls over to him. They said 3 weeks, no weight bearing at all. What an exhausting 3 weeks this will be.
