Mmmm FOooood

Normally for dinner we put faye in her entertainer or jumper.. The first few minutes she's happy, but then she sees us eating and wants in our lap. So we hold her and she watches carefully as we eat. She's been putting everything in her mouth and the past few weeks she's been grabbing food  off of our plates or out of our hands to look at- never tried to put it in her mouth..  Tonight at dinner  we gave her some Avacado. she  mostly slid it  back and forth on the tray table  and it slid out of her hands  a ton..  Finally she got a good grip and shoved it in her mouth and sucked on it.  Next thing i knew she was holding the slice and  her little jaw  and cheeks were moving around.. Little stink bit off a chunk and was rolling it around and then just spit it out.  she put it back in her mouth a few more times but didnt  take any more chomps..  It was amazing.. I was surprised how quickly she got a good grip and  chomped it!!

 

She immediately went for a bath...

    Thats wonderful! We've been putting it off a while, but Cade plays with my food all the time. We'll be starting by the end of the month.

    That's exactly what we've seen so far!  They work so hard to pick it up, and then it goes in the mouth, swishes around, and comes right back out.  I think she's swallowed something 2 or 3 times in the last 3 weeks haha :)

    DD is starting to get MAD when she sees us eating, so I'm excited that we'll be able to experience what you're talking about it just a few weeks!
