I am not complaining because i'd much rather have this than not. The morning/all day sickness is in full effect. Sitting at my desk is torture right now, I just want to lie down. Someone suggested ginger root. Anyone have any luck with that?

Re: Holy nausea, Batman!
My m/s laughed at things ginger or cracker related. Mine is pretty extreme and i've had to do IV fluids twice, but here's what seems to be helping make the day manageable:
Seabands
1/2 unisom & 25mg B6 at bedtime
25 mg B6 with every meal
Dissolvable zofran every 8 hours
Epsom salt baths
I also have Reglan and Meclizine if I need it.
I've had a hard time getting food or fluids, so I've started getting the Ensure drinks to try and get some nutrients, as well as have basically been eating brothy soups, fresh veggies and fruits (mainly watermelon).
Things that helped me:
50 mg of B6 every day
Crackers with peanut butter or toast with peanut butter
lemon drops
taking prenatal vitamins with dinner instead of in the morning
It's rough when it's all day! That's how it was for me too in the 1st tri.
Some things helped but nothing took it away. At all. I did discover an old fashioned ginger lemonade drink that sat well in my stomach, that ginger and lemon combo was good. I wore Sea Bands too. I also kept oyster crackers in my nightstand and ate a handful before I got out of bed every morning. Small meals more frequently. It was a delicate balance, too much or too little food both made me nauseous. Eating separate from drinking. Exercising every day really helped, even though it seemed like the last thing I wanted to do.
Luckily mine went away in 2nd tri and was at its worst around weeks 8 to 12. Hang in there and good luck!
