NT Scan results

NT measurements were all within normal limits! Heart rate is still high at 180, but the tech said the high risk doctor will be able to better image the heart when I see her next week. Apparently it's not startlingly high, but it's on the high end of normal for 12 weeks.

I'm a little concerned because even though she said LO is measuring right on schedule, the measurement the tech gave for crown to rump doesn't match what the internet says it should be at 12 weeks. I've always measured a day behind my LMP, but this number is like a cm smaller than what internet sources say it should be for 12 weeks, which is really bothering me. I know they would tell me if there were any concerns, but of course, I can't help but worry...... I'm generally a high strung person, so my concern isn't surprising....

Glad results were good! I totally hear you on the worrying, I am the same way! It's even worse with kids/pregnancy. So much is out of our control which makes it so much harder to deal with. Hopefully the Dr. can give you more detailed info.

That heart rate is high? Mine was at 174 at 12 weeks and I did not really think about it. The tech said it was in the normal range and my doctor said it looked great. I also drank coffee just before, which I imagine impacts it. But now I am worried it was too high.

Congrats on great results! I would try not to stress about the rump measurement. Just keep on your doctor and ask the hard questions, if you are still concerned!

Yay for good results! Try not to worry about the measurement -- as you get further along, there is more and more individual variation.

Congrats on the good result. And like pp's said, babies stretch and move so measurements can change. If your doctors say everything is fine, then I would run with it.

I'm so glad everything looked good! And as far as the measurements, on this subject I think the Internet is confused . I've looked before and different sites have completely different measurements for the same week. I vote no googling this. But you can still google hot dogs if you want!

You're right, I should just be happy the doctor said everything is good. Perhaps LO was just curled up a bit too much to get a good measurement. I should trust the experts and stop doubting them. Last time olive wasn't large enough for the NT scan measurements, but this time there was more than enough growth to do so, so it's not like olive stopped growing or something.

I should also eat the apple fritter I purchased before my appetite ran away when I looked up the measurement!
