This is why I need a blog...

I don?t blog so I use this site as my outlet...sorry, but I need to share!
DH and I have finally made a decision on what to do with his dad's inheritance. We are going to pay off a lot of our debt (truck, student loans, etc) and buy a motorcycle! We decided to put the Tahiti vacation on hold for a while...really, a long time. For our 10 year anniversary next year we are going to go to Nashville or something similar because we want to celebrate it.
The motorcycle pushes the new house back a year but at the end of the day, it is the one thing he really wants and it is his dad who died so I think it is a good decision. He will be able to buy it with little to no financed (depends on options) so it won't really "cost" us anything except the extra year to save for a new house.
I am a little sad about putting off vacation, but I know these are the best decisions for us.
To add to it, we are going to TTC #2 September - December (specific months because we are trying to avoid certain months). That means that our 10 year trip to Nashville may or may not be a few months early due to me possibly being pregnant. So yeah, that is all!

Congrats! Haha, but I think you're crazy... being stuck as an owner of 2 motorcycles who has been trying to buy a house for a couple years now, I'd buy the house!
Good for you! I think paying off debt and buying something "fun" is respectable. I'm sure his father would love knowing that he bought his boy a bike.
And IMHO I think going to Tahiti with our without your baby would be really tough. It's probably best you go when your child is more independent.
