Anthony was born on Friday. June 7th at 6:50pm. 7lbs 4oz. 20 inches long . Friday was the day I was induced. I came in the night before around 5 pm so they could start the rippen of the cervix. The doc on call wasn't sure what type of meds he was going to use. Because when I came in I was actually having mild contractions. So around midnight. The nurse gave me a ambien to help me sleep. Which did not work at all. Finally around 3 am. The doc finally decided to give me the pill medicine. Forgot the name of it. To start the process of rippen cervix. So. I got a pill. And 3 am. And then again at 5 am My doctors came in around 8 am. To see if I was dilated .... Nope the medicine didn't work. I was still 2 cm dilated. I got moved over to labor and delivery around 9 am and they started the pitocin That started to work right away more contractions started to come and I was getting uncomfortable with the pain. I asked for the epidural around 1pm. After the epidural my doc came in to see if I dilated. .....:NOPE. Not even a cm. I was still a 2!!!! Soo my doc broke my water at that time and said she would be back around 3 or 4. To see if that had worked. Funny thing when she broke my water. She said she felt LO hands touch hers lol. Anyway. She came back around 330. And still nothing changed. At this point. She said we can wait an hour and see what happens or start to prep for c section. I waited the hour to see if anything would happen. But of course not. Still at 2 cm. and the contractions. Was now inconsistent. Sooo around 5 my doc said that we had to do the c section. Bc since no progress had happen and my water was already broken. There was no use of waiting. Soo 6 pm they prepped me for the OR not to much of prepping since I already had the epidural. And my legs was numb they just changed to medicine so my tummy area was now numb. Once we got to the OR. They let me know when they started and within 1015 mins in. I heard them say ok.u will feel some pressure. And then I heard the baby crying. I instantly cried. And the nurse thought I was in pain. I said no happy tears!!! I was in recovery around 715pm. I was super tired and sore but well worth it Sorry so long. But baby Anthony is here and I'm in love with this little guy.
