Mobile: Holy crap we bought a house 

Well.. our offer was accepted, so we haven't actually "bought" it yet. But I like saying it haha.

 After living in my parents' basement for over a year, it looks like things are finally going our way. We are super excited and keeping our FX that everything (finances/loan/home inspection/etc) goes according to plan.

The only down side to all of this good news is that my mom is being a total douche about us moving out of our current city.. (read: she wants us to move across the street from her)  She's more concerned that L and H won't "love her as much because she lives further away than their other grandma" Yup. She's nuts.  (the city we are moving to is only 25-35 minutes away depending on traffic) 

I'm sure she'll come around eventually, because the tension in this house sucks right now. 

So yea... wish us luck we are going to need it haha :-)

    Congratulations! 

    Your mom sounds exactly like my mom.  Just keep doing what is best for your family and let her b*tch about it all she wants - whatever her problem is, it's just that.  Her problem, not yours.

    Congrats!  I know how much you've been wanting to find a place and get out of the basement.  That's really exciting that you found somewhere.  Hope everything works out smoothly and your mom stops being selfish and realizes what a good thing this is for your family!
