Parenting after a Loss

** rachel g **

Just saw your post below.  EPing for twins is sooo hard.  I kept it up almost a year but I never had mastitis (let alone twice).

Has anyone mentioned APNO to you?  Sounds like you need it!  It's a compounded ointment your OB can prescribe for you.  It has a steroid, anti-fungal and antibiotic in it to decrease infection.  You put it on after each pump session.

HTH.

Hang in there.

The boys are adorable.

  • I have actually attempted to have my OB write an rx for APNO to no avail. She doesn't know what it is and therefore won't okay me to use it.

I even wrote Jack Newman myself asking if he would email me an rx to no avail. I eventually just gave up.

Perhaps my GP would? She's a PITA and charges 20 for an rx on top of a 35 copay but it may be worth it as my right nip is now getting super itchy. Sigh.

Thanks for the supportive words! I'm still pumping my life away!
