I lotion my son twice a day with Renew lotion from Melaleuca. I order it on-line, and it works really well. I use a little Aquaphor shampoo in the bath and no body wash per the ped's recommendation. When he has flare-ups, I use hydrocortisone sparingly. Good luck; I hope you find a product that works.
My DD has it really bad on the back of her legs where her knee is. I just started using Aveeno Eczema Lotion. Before I put her to bed I gave her a bath and rubbed the areas with the lotion. In the morning it already cleared 75%! I now apply it when she wakes up and before she goes to bed. Good luck!

We just started the Aveeno Ezcema lotion with hydrocortisone spot treatment on red flare up spots as needed. The dr recommended applying the lotion with diaper changes. Apparently 2 times a day was not enough. We also use aquaphor baby bath wash very sparingly.
Thanks. We have an rx cream to treat it, but once it's cleared up we need to switch up her products and see if that keeps it at bay. I didn't know Aquaphor had shampoo or body wash, I'll have to look into those!

We use California Baby body wash/shampoo and then rx hydrocortisone on any bad spots, Cetaphil for Eczema over that on her body and Aquaphor on her face.
my daughter has it really bad and it seems to be worse now that its hot.She uses dove for baths and is on triaminclone(sp),hodroxine and desonide for her face. All of which dont work.Shes 19 months poor baby girl sleeps in long clothes in this hot weather it helps her for scratching her skin to the point of bleeding
We started using Shea Moisture brand. It's got shea butter, aloe, and argan oil in it, so it's a great natural moisturizer. I hated the way aquaphor and the like felt and they didn't really cut it. We use that twice a day and she does great! Plus, it smells awesome so I rub all the extra into my own hands in the mornings .
Try Arbonne's Baby Care Line. Botanically based skincare. A friend of mine used it on her 5 month old who had it bad, was about to get shots for it. After 2 weeks her sons skin was completely clear!
Dove sensitive baby wash sparingly in the tub. Baths every night and cream within 3 minutes. Homemade natural laundry detergent and all cotton clothing make a big difference too.
