LO Screaming for Attention

Do your LO's do this?  DD has been doing it ALL day today, loudly.  It's like she's talking but in a very high pitched voice for extended periods of time.  She's not usually such a drama queen.  I can't tell if she is just loving the sound of her voice, teething, in pain, or otherwise upset but not in the mood to cry.  What do you think in your XP?

    DD definitely does it, and I haven't figured out what it means either. Sometimes she does it and looks mad, others she'll smile right afterwards.

    Yup, LO has been doing that for a while. Loves to "yell" at us at 10:30 at night along with various other times of the day. Never sure if she is complaining about the service, or saying look at me, or her version of singing...

    DS does something similar although its not screeching. At night or at nap time he will roll himself onto his tummy then scream until I go in roll him back over, then he just smiles and coos at me

    LOL I agree with the PP who said it's making her ears bleed.  LO has started screeching loudly everytime I leave him to play independently while I make food or do a bit of cleaning.  I'm praying it's the temporary clinginess of another wonder week, because this mama is starting to lose her mind! Indifferent

    Yup DD does this.  It's definitely for attention in our house.  As soon as I get to her she's just smiling away.

    Mine does it too. I keep thinking she's not happy in the high chair watching us eat!  She also blows a lot of raspberries.  It's so cute but not when I'm trying to nurse her.
