Hi there! I'm 11w1d and this morning I was at the supermarket and I felt this strange "jittery" sensation in my lower abdomen. It's almost like I have too much coffee... And I haven't had any in weeks. Could it have been the baby moving already?
I've heard many women talk about this vibrating sensation, that feels like a cell phone vibrating or something, and I experienced it a couple of times during my first pregnancy. I don't remember what it was, but I'm thinking it was something muscular and not baby.
I'm at 11 weeks today. DH put his ear to my belly this morning and told me he could hear the baby. I felt bad telling him it was just gas. He was so disappointed!!

This made me lol!
I was trying so hard not to chuckle when this happened!
Many times I've felt a jitteriness vibrating sensation for a second or two. It happens periodically like 1 every 3-4 months. I've never been pregnant when it happened, and when I felt it I said to myself "if I would have been pregnant, I'm sure I would have thought it was the baby move".
Now that I'm pregnant I haven't necessarily felt it recently, but I know iit's just either a muscle twitch, gas, or something else.
I was convinced I was feeling the baby move at 12 weeks but then when I went for my ultrasound the LO was practically doing backflips and I felt nothing, so I guess I must have just been feeling gas lol

Just gas. Here is a quote from WebMD and it about the same everywhere I read.
"You should feel your baby's first movements, called "quickening," between weeks 16 and 25 of your pregnancy. If this is your first pregnancy, you may not feel your baby move until closer to 25 weeks. By the second pregnancy, some women start to feel movements as early as 13 weeks. You're more likely to feel baby move when you're in a quiet position, either sitting or lying down"
So count on between 16-25 weeks. Most women I talk to say they felt their first between 16-17 weeks and their second between 13-15.
I'm 11 weeks and have been less constipated. I think my uterus is moving higher so it's relieving pressure and those are the weird feelings. I can finally poop!!!
