My child tasted dog food

MOTY right here! I have to figure a way to keep the dog food out of DS reach but within the dog's reach so he can eat!  My poor dog was trying to have breakfast and S crawls over, takes a handful and puts it in his mouth. I got it out before he actually ate any of it but yuck!  Dog is not 'repaying' it by humping the baby.  Oh what a great morning this is going to be.

    At least it wasn't dog poop. It's alright I think every kid does it at some point. My brother ate a whole bag of beggin strips when he was 13. We only found out when he told my mom the bacon in the bag wasn't good and she shouldn't buy anymore.

    Rhett has had dog food too. I had just sat down to pee, left the door open to watch him and before I could do anything he crawled over to the dog's bowl and grabbed 2 handfuls. Naughty little monkey...

    At least it wasn't poop. Lol! Can the dog eat outside? I've no idea; never been a pet owner.

    DS got a piece of dog food in his mouth this week, too, but didn't eat it.

    It is a tricky thing to keep the LOs away from it, but let the dogs get to it. Mostly I just pick up the dog's bowl and put it up if we are going to be in the kitchen for a little while (making lunch or something). I figure the dog will be fine for 10 minutes.

    Lily had a taste of Royal Canin dog food... and liked it so much she went back for more.  We just had to relocate the Dogs' food to the mud room, that way it is out of sight/out of mind for her.

    I am guilty of eating dog treats, LOL.  Dog beef jerky.  I can't remember how old I was, but I was probably in elementary school, possibly grade 7 at the latest.

    DD3 hasn't ate anything strange.  But DD1 & 2 have both ate dog food.
