5 cycles of "TTC" - 3 intentional, 2 not so intentional. 5 BFPs. My rainbow arrived 10/15/14. TFMC 08.02.13 at 19+ weeks. Everyday I grieve for my little Olive.

She and I drive the same car...who knew it was good for moving pot? I sense a new career for me. LOL
How do you like the GL? I like it, but think it looks huge for our needs and am considering the M-class or a Cayenne.
I love it! It's big, but with two kids and friends, I can't imagine not having a car this size. Of course, you get used to what you have so there is that. DH has an E-Class so we use that for date nights and my car for family stuff. I like the M-class but need the 3rd row for DDs friends/carpools. They're actually both made about 30 minutes away from here, so I like to say I bought local.
I am not a fan of the Cayenne. I have a few friends with them and they are just not as smooth as my car. Of course, the new ones might be different.

We've had the Cayenne & Panamera as loaner cars this year b/c DH's car was in the shop a bit. He mentioned to the dealer we were considering starting a family soon, so of the course the guy tried to get him to "upgrade" his toy already. The Panamera is GORGEOUS, but definitely not a great car seat car. I like the Cayenne quite a bit, but i feel like Mercedes just does luxury and certain technologies better. I've driven the ML quite a few times and love it.
Maybe I'll test drive the GL when we go car shopping in the fall.... DH likes the E-class, but I'm trying to persuade him to join camp SUV.

Now I should say I'm not a Porsche person, my sports car taste tends to go more to the British side of things. But, I like the Panamera. A girl I know drove one when she had her first. It seemed to work fine, though I would think that as soon as you have two, you need a new car. It's not a Minivan, I'll say that.
As far as your husband having a SUV, I would really lean towards him getting something that can fit the baby, but is a sedan. It's so nice to have a smaller car for trips for just us, etc. Especially you living so close to the city!

Oh, I totally agree we should have 1 sedan; he wants 2 sedans! We already have a 3 series that will likely get bumped up to a 5 series, but he thinks we can get away with 2 sedans for a few years. I agree with you and prefer a SUV and a sedan.
(he obviously has a thing for German engineering... lol)

I work for Mercedes. I say GL
LOL Do you work for corporate or a dealership? I obviously agree? I've driven an Audi, BMW and now my Mercedes and this is by far my favorite and best car.
