    I live in Denton, which is about 30 miles north of Dallas.

    We are going to Weatherford for two months. DH has school and we will be stuck in a hotel so Im looking for things to do!

    FW has a great zoo, and the FW botanic gardens are nice too. There are tons of museums and a children's museum also (FW Museum of Science and Natural History, I think). Check out the Omni Theater there.

     If you like sports, the Texas Rangers play in Arlington, and the games are a lot of fun. Ticket prices aren't too bad if you don't mind sitting up high. FW has some nice shopping areas and the Stockyards. If you want to try some awesome Mexican food, go to Joe T. Garcia's. It's famous around here.

    This was almost exactly what I was going to put. The Ft Worth Zoo is wonderful. Check out Ft Worth stockyards. Joe t's is a must go for great Mexican food and great atmosphere.
