  • Awwww, that's so exciting!  Mine is just finishing 1st grade and entering 2nd in the fall (eeekkk) so i was there not that long ago, remember it like it was yesterday.

I cried and smiled all in the same day.  I remember putting her on the bus and I was thinking "what the heck! she's too little for this!!" and I broke down when the bus left- I swore when she came home, I would never see her because she would get off the wrong stop or something haha (she didn't).   And she came home "that was the best day of my life!" <3

I hope your little one loves it, too!  They grow so fast..

  • Mine is starting pre-school and I am emotional enough about that! I can't even imagine Kindergarten.  What a big step!

  • Mine just moved to the preschool room at daycare. I remember when he was in the infant room and the preschool kids seemed so old...

  • My DS started kindergarten last September.  And he went wearing diapers.  :D

Okay, it's German kindergarten, which starts at three years old over here.  He does go five days a week, five-six hours a day.  It was challenging at first, especially because of the language difference, but he really enjoys it and is learning German.

i am hopeful that this experience will make his (American) kindergarten experience less stressful for us both.  :)

  • DS will be starting preschool for the new school year and I am soooo scared. He has been in daycare for the past 2 years which we both loved. He turned 3 and I still consider him my little baby but he is one tough kiddo. I will start off by dropping him in the mornings and he takes the bus after school which will take him to his present daycare and I pick him up from the daycare after work. I just know I will be boo hoo bawling the first few days of school.
