It's like 70 degrees outside already here where I am at, and we are going to go to the park across from our house that has a splash pad and see how the girls like it!
What are your plans for your Saturday with the munchkins?
It's quiet around here because DS(4.5) is with his BD. Today DH is helping friends move while I'm home with DD cleaning. Tonight DD is going to my parents' and DH and I are having a long overdue date night - we're going to a local church's festival. I'm excited!
It is hot here ... was 72 at 9am when I went to fabric store first thing this morning. Now are hanging out at the ILs, visiting with them. They'll BBQ a late lunch/ early dinner.
Swim lessons this morning, then 5 y/o birthday party. Now resting up for my night out with coworkers to celebrate end of school year! DH has DD alone tonight while mom goes out!

We did our usual walk to the neighborhood coffee shop this morning just under 3 miles round trip, hit up some yard sales, bought some flowers for mama's flower pots, our first experience in the swimming pool, now finally home for a nice long nap lazy weekend the rest of the weekend although we might go swimming again tomorrow after coffee :
I had breakfast with some friends at IHOP this morning, while DH watched DD. I went to a doctor's appointment afterward, so a podiatrist could take a look at my infected toenail from a pedicure I got a month ago (I'm never getting a pedicure again EVER!!!!). I ended up getting a matricectomy on both sides of both my big toes. I picked up some lunch for me and DH afterward, came home around 1:30pm and found out that DD only had 45mins of sleep since she woke up at 6:30am this morning ughhhh. I guess mommy with sore toes to the rescue.
Mmm IHOP. I just saw an add for their jelly donut pancake. I must have it! The rest of your day sounds awful, sorry!
Today we met some family friends with a son the same age as DD1 at a petting farm. Spent the morning there. Then I attempted to bake and frost a cake because MIL's bday is being celebrated at our house for dinner. DD1 is just getting the idea of birthdays and now every birthday we must sing Happy Birthday and blow out candles, and the birthday person must have a birthday crown (they do bday crowns at daycare). So we made a crown, my cake is a hot mess but will taste good, and that is our day! MIL wants DD1 to spend the night with her tonight. She has never spent the night away from home. Im not ready for it but I think we might let her try it anyway

We had a BBQ and campfire out at our trailer with my Dad and stepmom. We were out there for a few days. DH has to work tomorrow though, so we are back home now.
Today was my oldest son's last soccer game of the season. My parents came to see the game then stayed to watch our kids so DH and I could go out to dinner to celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary...wow the last 9 years sure have flown by!!!
LOL yeah pretty much. I had to run out and get another container of frosting to really load it on there and cover up the cake crumbles. I'm not meant to bake.

Re: GTKY
Thinking I will be changing a poopy diaper soon.

Thanks. Once DD got her bottle and took a huge poop, she was down for almost 3 hours, so my day isn't ending on a bad note.
Did you mistreat your cake? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZAIJAmPn44 (This is what popped into my head as soon as you mentioned that your cake was a hot mess.)
