No one of my fb knows how to buckle their kids in the car safely.
This is just from today:
4 year old sitting in the front seat [no booster].
2 babies with the chest clip of their carseat down by their belly.
One of them is 11months old and forward facing.
2 year old didn't have the straps of the carseat on his shoulders.
5 year old sitting on his knees with no booster leaning across the seat to touch baby sister.
And not one person has commented on any of those pictures about how unsafe that is.

This. I hope no one goes through my pictures and comments on the kids car seats and seat belts. We stop quite a bit and have lunch or a snack in the car. The older kids unbuckle when we are waiting on someone, we have a drive-in theater 2 miles from our house that they certainly aren't buckled in for. Obviously there are people who break the rules, but a picture is just a tiny, tiny glimpse.
I really like you lady T, but if someone did this to me they would immediately be deleted.
This. I've taken pics of dd and my neice in the car with their belts unbuckled or leaning whatever but we're in a parked car. I won't drive unless we're all safely seated. I don't need anyone on FB judging my parenting base on a picture.
In some of these pictures, the car was obviously moving.
The 2 year old is my cousin's kid. I kind of want to message her, but I guess I should mind my own business.
FF a baby before 1 is just dumb and yes they need to be told its wrong. Now a parked car with a kid is a different story, but a moving vehicle with a kid a with straps down, that's just careless on the parents part.
I've been called out before on straps (the strap should have been in the hole above the shoulder) and also on the handle being up when it should be down. I was fine. They're just looking out for my kid's safety.
