Hey everyone! What are your weekend plans?
Today is my first day of summer break!! I'm a teacher, our last work day was yesterday, followed up by graduation last night! It was great to see all my babies I had as freshmen walk across the stage! Very proud teacher moment! ![]()
Today, my DH and I are flying out to DC! It's work for him, but vaycay for me! We are meeting his brother and his parents there! We went to DC last year too, but I'm excited about going back; there is just so much to see there!!
I hope everyone has a great weekend!!

I'm a teacher, too! I love, love, love my job, but having the Summer off is amazing! It's even better now compared to when I was a kid! This weekend, we are busy! My 'baby' has his 10th birthday party today. He loves basketball and so we rented the local rec center so the boys can play ball all afternoon. He's been a nut waiting for the party all week!
We are also celebrating Father's Day today after the party with my dad since he's in town for DS's party. That way, when my belly is full and sore next weekend from stimming all week, I can just stay home and relax! We're all going out for pizza. It should be fun!

That sounds like so much fun! DH really wants to visit DC (I've been there for work before), so we've been planning a visit for awhile, we just haven't been able to!
As for us, we're going to a BBQ today, and hopefully doing some biking. ILs are coming over tomorrow to go with us to the flea market. I have an interview for a new position at work on Monday, so I just want the weekend to be over already. Yes, I'm crazy!
***EVERYONE WELCOME***

DH did a zombie mud run this morning so we were up and out of the house by 6:30 a.m. Later today I am going to a barbecue for an employee who is moving out of state so I am making her a fondant cake with all inside jokes on it. tomorrow i am so excited to say i am doing absolutely NOTHING. i don't even care if the house is a mess, nada, zilch, zero. i may not even get out of bed!
Sad. I posted an update here but TB ate it. I really know how to spell "awesome"!
I'm a teacher too. My last day is this Wednesday, but our last real day of classes was Thursday and we cleaned out the classroom all day yesterday, dose decided to kick off summer this weekend with just DH and I out at our family's beach place. To top it off, it's sunny! Wahooo!
Everyone's plans sound so great. Enjoy the time travelling, grilling, gardening, or...in Heath04angel's case,:FETing!!! Cheers, ladies!
