I had my hysteroscopy Wednesday.  It went well.  DH said the dr told him he removed 2 polyps. 

 Best part of the surgery was DH has been on LO duty for the 24 hours after it.

I called for my follow up appointment post-operation and couldn't get in till June 19.  They said something about next week was fertility week.  Not quite sure, but no dr's are available.  Not happy that not 1 dr is available.  Today, I get a phone call and they told that they made a mistake and that appointment is for the office that is 1 hour and 30 minutes from us.  There are 2 offices that are within 45 minutes from where we live.  They reschedule us for the 21.  I then asked if I started my cycle if we could start the meds b/4 seeing the dr and was told no.  I told my DH and he said call back and see when the 1st available appt is and he was fine with driving to the farthest office.  We now have an appt for June 18.  I am kind of surprised we have to wait that long to see the dr.  We never had to wait that long during our first IVF adventure.  I hope AF waits till after then.

    I had a hysteroscopy on April 3 and didn't have a follow up for 4 weeks postop. And they had me take a complete cycle off to recover before starting treatment again. So I had to wait for my postop AF, and then another full cycle before starting meds. We're doing injects with IUI. Good luck with your follow up appointment and your next cycle!

    Sorry it sucks to wait.  I have read that alot of ppl have had success right after having the hysteroscopy.  I guess that is why I am soooo impatient.  We decided to drive to the office farthest away to get in earlier since we are both on summer break.  Good Luck this cycle.
