The playground near our house has nice easy steps up to a 6 foot drop off, and that is the only play area it has. Does any one know of a good playground for a toddler near Eagan?
I don't have any specific recommendations, but it might just take driving around to check out some of the other neighborhood parks to see which have smaller structures. Or there are some virtual tours:
There is an indoor play place in Eagan that my 4 year old went to a few weeks ago. I think it's called "The Blast". It's $3 to get in. My MIL took my kids there one day and said it was a good place to let the kids have fun.
I have a link in my signature to a website where I've been trying to compile places (including the Blast that someone else mentioned). I don't have any outdoor ones for that area yet, though. Let me know if you find something good!
This is a bit of a drive but there is a "tot-lot" by the Sonic in Savage. Same road, but on the other side of the street maybe a mile or so down. It's very small and low to the ground, with some swings. The big kids avoid it, and I've met a lot of nice mom, dads and lil ones there. :-) If you're ever in the area, check it out.
