Busty girls

I'm already a 38D and I am TERRIFIED about how much bigger my boobs will get!  I already feel like my cup runneth over because they are so sore and swollen.  I can't even sleep without a bra on because they hurt so much.

Anyone else have a larger chest or do you know someone who had one and had a baby?  Should I be worried that I will look like Dolly Parton?! Tongue Tied

Re: Busty girls

  • yes they will get bigger, no they will likely not go back down. it could be worse, mine were 44DD, before DD1, now are 46E/F depending on the bra.

  • I am also a 38D.  With my last two pregnancies I grew to an F.  They did go back down though.

  • I was a DD/E prior to DS1.  Mine mostly went down.  I still had about 10lbs left to lose and told myself they'd have gotten smaller if I would have buckled down and lost that.

I'm already wearing my nursing bras from after DS right now at 8wks with #2...and that worries me.

  • I told my husband I want a breast reduction afterwards if we decide to join the one and done club!

  • I was 36 D before my last pregnancy. By the time I had my son and my milk came in I was up to a 42 F and stayed there until I stopped breast feeding and lost a little weight and settled into a 38 DD. I know my boobs are going to get huge again. People still talk about how big they were.

  • Oh how I wish I were only a 38D! I was a 32H before finding out that I was pregnant. I am now busting out of my normal bras. Who knows how big I will be by the time this is over! Just know that you're not alone, and it could be worse! ;
  • Same here!  Worried!  I'm a 34H, and they still fit into my current bras (I'm about 10.5 weeks), but who knows how they'll be by the end...they didn't really grow too much with my last pregnancy, but one never knows!  OY!
  • Ds aren't really that big count your blessings, along with a few other PPs Im in the H club....36HH to be exact. I hate to see what happens when milk comes in. Im fully preparing to have to buy an I or J cup

  • I was a 34G before I got pregnant with DD, and moved up to a 34J. Now (DD is 16 months old) I am still nursing, but I am a bit smaller than I was pre-pregnancy. (Except when I get full.) It was about 2 months after DD was born before I came down from the initial engorgement (bigger than the 34J), so if you plan on BFing, I wouldn't stock up on nursing bras until then.
  • With DD I started at a double D cup. I ended up with a G chest once my milk came in.

This time I started as a 42 Double F. I anticipate being insane by the time my milk comes in. Maybe an H or an I.

  • I have quite a small frame, so my 36 dd does look pretty large on me. They went up to a 36 e pretty quickly, but seem to have settled there. I have I be careful what I wear already, because being short I look like I'm going to fall over!
A friend of mine is an a cup aa when she has lost a bit of weight and she grew to a c cup, which on her looks giant! She is about 5ft, 100 pounds, she loves it though. I guess to just expect at least a couple of sizes, no matter what your starting size is.
  • Oh god you guys are scaring me! I'm a 40DD right now prepregnancy and still am....no idea where I'm headed.

  • I was a 36d before getting pregnant with 1. I didn't really feel that big during pregnancy, even though I was about 38dd. Then after DS was born I went to 38DDD but went back down size a little after a couple months.
So everyone is different but I don't think I got too huge compared to what I started with. I think it makes a bigger difference if you start out small and go up 2 or 3 sizes.
