Is there anything you regret not investing in?

For me, I regret not investing in a nice nursing chair. At this point, I'm not going to spend the money nor rearrange the furniture to get one, but man it would have been great to have one early on, and now.

I think I could be a lot more resolute about not bringing LO into bed with us if I had another really comfy option.

Totally this. If I had a big, comfy, expensive, reclining chair/glider in the nursery we wouldn't have ever had to bedshare. Its way too late to get one now. Maybe a splurge for whenever we have a third...maybe...

a longer maternity leave. I ended up having 6 weeks PTO but was bringing work home after a week so I never really mentally checked out of the office and focused 110% on Killian. I wish I'd given him more of my undivided attention

I didn't get a nursing chair the first time around, so I invested in one this time around (700 freaking dollars), and I hardly actually use it. It is just so much easier to let her sleep with me at times.

I really wish I would have gotten a stroller/car seat combo. We went for walks a lot when she was first born, and I have a hand me down stroller that didn't fit the car seat so I would put DD1 in the stroller and DD2 in a moby wrap. It just got tiring, but I am lazy haha.

I love my stroller, but I wish I would of held out and gotten the City Mini GT. My stroller only has 2 failings. The lack of car seat attachment and air filled wheals for the trails.

I also wish I would of gotten a high chair that I could hose off. I love mine, but I wasn't planning on BLW when I bought it. Now it seems like this will be an interesting thing to clean multiple times a day.

Wow I'm surprised to realize that my answer to this is no. I think maybe its because I have the opposite issue. I do love my nursery chair and use it every day. I am EPing so I don't know what difference it would have made in terms of cosleeping, but I read to her in that chair and feed her in that chair every day.

This is going to sound silly, but a bouncy seat. I don't know why, but we never got one. It was totally fine without, but now that daycare has told me that she loves it and cat naps in it, I'm thinking I could have peed in peace more often.

I also wish I had done NB pics. My photographer friend was away and I didn't know anyone else local. We did some at 6 weeks though. Her NB cloth diapers still fit, and we got some cute shots, but no squishy newborn in adorable poses.

As far as purchasesI'm pretty happy. I would have liked a rocking chair, but didn't need it, and the money was well spent in other areas.
