I am getting ready to go on long trip consisting of several long flights with my 12 mo. She has flown a ton before, but nothing long since she started walking/being super active. I'm looking for suggestions on fun apps or videos I can put on the iPad in case I get desperate. Other "traveling with a 1yo" tips are more than welcome, too! Thanks!
Re: Baby apps for traveling
my guy won't touch apps/videos on the plane BUT I've been flying quite a bit with him recently and here are some of the things I use (20 months, so a little older)
Nesting dolls. OMG he loves these, taking them apart, stacking, putting them inside each other, putting them together. I pull down the tray and he stays occupied for a pretty long time.
Books/magazines
Magnadoodle (and along a similar vein, I'm going to pick up some color wonder markers/coloring book for our upcoming flight. With both/either you don't need to worry about them making a mess)
Mini beach ball. I like these because they deflate so they don't take up room and I can blow them up quickly. Light and easy to toss around/play with in a small space. My guy also likes when I blow it up and let him squeeze till the air comes out.
I'm also picking him up a mini-slinky to play with for our upcoming trip. I think he'll get a kick out of it.
