My DD is almost 9 months old and will only nap in her swing. We've tried numerous times to nap her in the crib, but she will only nap 20 minutes, where in the swing she naps a good 2 hours. We've tried the CIO, but she shares a room with her brother so that sometimes is not a good idea since he wakes up. Also, we put her down to sleep at around 7:30 at night...she sleeps till around 1am, but then refuses to go back in her crib and will only sleep in a bouncer. I think she likes the comfort and to snuggle. How can I change this habit? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Re: Won't take naps in crib
I had the same issue. C used to sleep for 2-3 hours in her swing. Then.....the swing broke. I ordered a replacement motor but it took 2 weeks and by that time I had to find other means of napping...which was her crib.
Now she naps for 30 mins tops. Oh well. She hates her swing now. I don't have much of a choice.
