For those with 2 youngins, what are you using for a diaper bag these days? A normal tote bag? Backpack? Etc?
I need to get something to use when we go out and about (shopping, etc) & something else to keep at daycare with all of their extra changes of clothing. I don't want anything obnoxiously large, though. The out & about bag needs to be big enough for the normal newborn crap (bottles, water for formula, diapers, wipes & extra clothing) & G's stuff (mostly just a couple of diapers & a sippy). The daycare bag needs to hold about 4-5 extra outfits for each of them.
Re: Moms of 2+ : Diaper bags
I tried every diaper back out there including the JuJuBe BFF that every 2u2 mom raves about over on the 2u2 board. I HATED it! The BFF was a backpack, and it was practical. I couldn't just reach in and grab what I needed, I had to take it off, open the zipper, and get the stuff. My DS had severe reflux and needed burp cloths all the time, I was forever reaching into the diaper bag.
I ended up going back to a tote style bag, which is what I started with. Easy access and it was cheap. I got the JJ Cole Mode Tote on Babysteals for like $30. I loved this bag.
