Hey Bumpies!
This is my second IUI! This time I had 2 1/2 mature follicles and my DH's sperm count was much higher and his motility was up 10%. I hate to get my hopes up but Im going to have faith that this is the one! My birthday is on Tuesday and I refuse to have any drinks because after all, I will be pregnant. Sometime you have to speak things into existence.
Can anyone share their IUI stories? Successes? Did you need progesterone? Have soon did you test?
Good luck fellow bumps! We got this!
Re: IUI #2...crosses fingers
I'll be hoping this one works for you. I got pregnant with my second son from our second IUI. I always used progesterone from right after the IUI, but I had two miscarriages so I was sorta going overboard with the projesterone.
Oh, and I always tested out my trigger and then just kept right on testing. Yea, I'm a tad obsessive compulsive ;-)

Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck. Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.

Thank you so much!!
Can I ask? What do you mean testing your trigger? My doctor just told me to take a pregnancy test in 2 weeks? Could I take one sooner?
Thanks again!
I would like to do anything possible so I plan to take progestrone also! Thanks again for the feedback.
A smart person would just take a pregnancy test in 2 weeks. Obsessive compulsive testers like me ignore that advice and do our own thing.
If you're using a trigger shot to make you ovulate (like Ovidrel) that shot is really hcg, which is what makes the pregnancy test turn positive, sooooo, if you're like me and like to test early, you'd need to know at what point the hcg from the trigger has left your body. I used cheap pregnancy tests from a few days after my IUI and at first they would be positive from the trigger shot, then usually for me, around day 7 or 8 they would be negative so then I knew the tripper hcg was gone and that if I saw another line the next day that I was really pregnant.
