Bladder cut during csection...any updates or anyone with adhesions?

My bladder was cut after attempting a vbac with my son 8 months ago. For the most part my recovery has been fine but I have a sense of urgency and a slight pain in my pelvic region I am dealing with. I think the pain might be adhesions.

I remember that there were a few women out there that also had their bladder cut. Is this typical? Or does anyone have experience with adhesions?

  • I can't speak from experience, but I'm sure others will. My first thought was what about getting some body work to release the adhesions?  If it were me, I would ask around with some physical therapists who work with the pelvic area in women, and if they couldn't provide the therapy, they might be able to refer you. It could be very worthwhile, and there are people out there who know the pelvic area really well and there are some amazing things that therapists can physically do to help women. HTH.  I'm really sorry that happened.

  • Also, I recently heard about a very supportive facebook group for CBAC, perhaps you would find some resources or support there. It's geared toward women who attempted VBAC but ended up with a CBAC. It pops up if you search for CBAC.
  • Thanks so much. Both suggestions are really helpful. I had thought of some possible massage for the adhesion but I am not even sure if that is what the pain is.
