Dear H,
Yes, you are going to attempt to continue Ferber with DS tonight while I'm at a retirement party. It is working great for us and just because I'm not going to be home doesn't mean you can take the easy way out. Yes the crying is awful but you can do it. Or else.

Dear H,
I know it really sucks that you were laid off for a couple of weeks, and that future work with your company seems spotty. But I absolutely adore the bond you and DS have grown over the last few weeks while you were home with him. I love watching you two together, and how you now know what his cries mean, and how you interact. No one else can make him smile and laugh the way you do! I am also glad you got called back to work, though, because things were getting kind of sketchy money wise. You are an amazing father, husband, and provider for our family.

I seriously think you need to take a pill that strengthens your memory. I've asked you four times to take that bag into work and give it to your Mom and here it still sits by the garage door.... Dear MIL,
You are the only person alive that describes DD as laid back and the only one that thinks I am over reacting by being frustrated with things. It is not normal for her to be this much under weight...thus weekly feeding therapy, we seriously needed to have her hip dysplasia taken care of and it is not normal for her to hate her crib, bottles, pacifiers, naps, and anything that involves not being held. Also, a baby that wakes up several times per night and refuses to sleep in her own room at almost 5 months does not equal a good sleeper. I realize things could be way worse but quit telling me how easy I have it.

Please don't take it personally when you can't make DD stop crying right away. The only reason I can do it is because I have boobs. A few years from now she'll prefer you when we inevitably have a good cop bad cop parenting situation. It's obvious you're going to spoil her. Let me enjoy this brief time when she prefers mommy.

Me too! My H gets frustrated and I tell him my only advantage right now is boobs. Before we know it our son will prefer to hang out with his dad.
