bottle nipple level too fast?

such a FTM question!  i recently moved LO to Dr. Brown's level 3, realizing that based on her age she should be.  we did fine at first. BUT  for the past week, she hasnt been finishing her bottles.  she was doing 28/29 ounches and im pushing for 23 lately. her solid intake has been the same.  im trying to rule things out so am wondering if its the nipple.. she does tend to choke on it.

what are indicators that the nipple level is wrong?

    I would say if she's choking to go back down a size. DD is still using the 3 month nipples and I don't think she'll ever move up. We tried the 6 month and she choked on the formula.
    TTC #1 since May 2010
    9/10 and 1/11 Normal blood work
    2/11 50 mg Clomid = BFN
    4/11 50 mg Clomid = BFN
    5/11 100 mg Clomid = BFN
    6/11 2.5 mg Femara = BFN
    7/11 2.5 mg Femara = BFN
    SA normal and HSG all clear
    11/11 14 HMG shots with HCG trigger = BFN
    12/11 Femara + HMG = BFP!!

    We use Avent bottles and are finally on #3's. He moved to 2's pretty quickly around 3 months but after that we tried the 3's and he started to choke a bit, would turn his head and get formula all over (wasn't the case before). We switched when we realized he was taking forever to finish the bottle and would suck the thing almost inside out. I would go back to the previous size and see how she does then look for the signs that she's ready like I stated above! GL!
