What gets you motivated to work out? Besides losing baby weight and what not. I work out with a group of women and we want to do some sort of challenge or something different. Any suggestions or anything you guys have done?
We are doing monthly challenges. We created a FB group and every night we do a check in. May we did an ab/squat/plank challenge and this month we are doing arms. We continue doing the abs /plank/squat's but now have added the arms too. We are going to continue with monthly challenges in addition to our regular work outs. We have been having fun with it and even some husband's have joined us. You can find a bunch on the net that are pretty good or make your own.
I'm not much of a fan of working out with someone, other than DH, but maybe you could try a workout DVD like Zumba? DH and I do Insanity and although it's tough and some days we scream and curse at Shaun T., we love it and it's definitely a challenge! You can even find 20-60 minute workout videos online from Zumba to Tabata.

The 5K idea sounds great! There's going to be so many of them with the summer right around the corner. This is a great way to stay motivated with other mommies.
Knowing I have the 2014 Boston Marathon 5 1/2 months post-partum. I was just going to let it go becasue I've run it twice before, but now that's it's going to be such a special year, I can't miss out. I want to stay as conditioned as possible.
Like pp's suggested, would signing up for a race be a motivator for you?
