Labor and delivery update

Thank you ladies for your thoughts and prayers. This morning I woke up with intense cramps. I went to the bathroom
And passed my mucus plus. The cramps turned to contractions. I have a heart condition and I'm at risk for an early labor. I've been on bed rest now for about two weeks. I've had contractions in the past but never as severe as today. I called my doctor and was told to go into labor and delivery. I also hadn't felt the baby move in about 8 hours. My blood pressure and high and I was running a fever. I was given fluids and we were hooked up to a fetal monitor. The baby is doing well. I had an ultrasound and could see him moving around. At 26 weeks he is 2lbs. 4oz. I will be kept overnight for monitoring. The contractions have stopped. I will have to continue bedrest and come in again if I begin to feel contractions again. Two weeks ago I was also told that I was showing signs of heart failure. I've had a tough pregnancy but both baby and I are doing well. Thank you again for all of your thoughts and prayers. I hope he continues to cook until September.

    So glad you're both doing well! I'm sorry you had to go through that, but glad you got it stopped! Hang in there. Thoughts and prayers for you!

    Glad everything is ok.  I hope baby stays in there and cooks as long as possible!  I will be thinking about you.

    I am glad the contractions have stopped for now.  I hope you and baby remain healthy for the rest of your pregnancy.
