3rd baby 30 weeks pregnant baby dropped

I am 30 weeks with my third baby and last night I woke up periodically through the night with pretty strong contractions. When I got up this morning my stomach had went from huge to looking like I was barely pregnant. Baby dropped tremendously. I also have been having some pretty strong contractions today. I'm concerned because I had my last baby prematurely and I'm really early right now. Anyone have similar situations and still carry to full term?

I probably should have explained better my last pregnancy I had contractions every three minutes at 35 weeks. When I got to the hospital I was three centimeters and BP was high. Found out I had preeclampsia so they induced me. Contractions are irregular but am calling OB now.

I'm 32 weeks and I get "wow you must be due any day" all the time because "baby has dropped"- My abdominal muscles aren't what they used to be, but my cervix is still very much CLOSED, so baby isn't going anywhere.

If you think you are contracting, then call the Dr, if you are concerned mostly because the baby has dropped, then I wouldn't worry.

Hi, Just wondering how it all went after? I am 32 weeks and on my 3rd baby and the baby dropped at 30 weeks... Im not having any contractions just more pressure on my hips and just curous to how others did .... Thanks
