I don't think it's a good thing to be called crunchy or a hippie.
I don't think I look or smell like one. And I definitely think my 'mind' is more sane than some of the hippie people I've met in my life time.
But:
I don't shower daily, try to buy organic products, want to baby wear, cloth diaper, mama cloth and diva cup user. We recycle, and compost. I love my glass water bottles.
Oh I hate tie dye! And not really a fan of dreads or plugs. Or facial piercings In general.
ETA: my hair has grown insanely this pregnancy and its probably to my belly button. I need to cut it because I vowed to never let it reach my butt! And I'm about say 6 inches away from that.
To add, I think that people who pierce their newborn/infant/toddler's ears are selfish.
I plan to let my daughter choose if she wants her ears pierced. Even if she tells me at 4 years old that she wants them done, at least it was her decision.
GAH, another one I totally agree with. More so the ones that are actually shaved in rather that the "fauxhawk" that is styled with gel. At least that can be washed out.
Mine is tv is a waste of time. Dh agrees. In fact neither of us had a tv connected to cable or satellite when we met and after 2 years of marriage we still dont have it. When we visit my parents and check out the tv guide we just get reminded why we dont have it.
FWIW, my 21 and 16 year olds dont object since they can find enough to watch on internet.

I agree. We haven't had cable since our first was born 4 years ago. I thought I was going to die because I was a tv addict, but it turns out I don't miss it at all (ok, once in awhile when I'm sick i DO miss laying on the couch and watching hours of HGTV or Bravo or something, but that's a rare case).
We don't have cable or satellite either. I find there is plenty to watch on Hulu, Netflix, or just basic tv.
We also only have one television. I hope to not get another one. So we have to all agree on what to watch. It will be interesting to see how a kid affects this.

Ewwww worms! Makes me shudder with fear.
I agree.

Heehee, it doesn't smell like worms...it smells super salty though and most people don't like it.
But speaking of worms, here's another UO, worms don't gross me out...they're kinda cool
This! On babies it annoys me the most. I told my daughter she could get them when she wanted, that's not my choice to make for her.
ETA: Game of Thrones show is not at all complicated. Try reading the books!

That really is an unpopular opinion. You're crazy!
