DD recently began walking and my MIL has a round coffee table. I have seen the corner guards for square/rectangular tables at both BRU and BBB. However, I haven't seen anything for round table. MIL really wants to put something bc it is made of glass. TIA
Re: Help me baby proof round coffee table
Are you worried about the glass breaking, or DD hitting her head on it?
Honestly, we haven't baby proofed any edges except to lay a blanket down on the edge of our stone fire place hearth. DD falls down all the time, but she's survived so far :-)

I'm not really worried about her hitting herself. I mean she will cry and get bumps bc its part of the process in learning to walk. It MIL who is insisting on something and I'm honestly not sure her reason. Lol
thanks for the suggestion with the amazon link
This if MIL is insisting. Or I've even heard of using like the pipe insulation from Home Depot - it's like a noodle but usually cheaper and you can buy it in long sections. But I think I would just try to get MIL to let it go.
We have an oval coffee table and used this. It worked fine. (Ours is brown wood, though. Glass would probably want a different color.)

We have one of these on our coffee table (ours is rectangular, but there's a round version too).
I like it because it doesn't look like a babyproofing item, it's washable, the fabric matches our couch, and it has the effect of turning our coffee table into an ottoman looking thing.
We have a glass table and didn't baby proof. I watched DS like a hawk when he started walking and within a few weeks, there wasn't any need. He doesn't bang his head on the table (I know I just jinxed myself!) or run into it. I did initially want something but before I could decide what made the most sense, he was walking well.
My inlaws were paranoid and I just kept saying yeah I have to get something. Then in no time, he was good and they didn't mention it anymore.
