AW: LO's first concert

We went to see Sting last night at Red Rocks. It was a great concert. He's an amazing musician and to think he's doing all that at over 60 years of age. Lots of oldies from The Police.

LO had a great time - dancing and kicking in utero. I did my best to plug my nose with all the pot smoke around us. Luckily being an outdoor concert I wasn't too concerned but yes, I was "that" woman covering up her nostrils when I'd catch a wiff. My how things change.... lol

Anyone else hitting a summer concert before your LO arrives?

So far I've seen green day, the lumineers and the killers. There is a chance I'll be seeing they might be giants next Friday and I'm holding out hope that I'll be able to see the postal service at the end of July. My aunt is worried that they won't let me in because I'll look ready to pop. I'm due August 7th.

I"m not sure I could do a daytime concert in the heat either. The show last night started at 8pm so it was nice and cool.

Went to an outdoor music fest last weekend, the main event was an awesome New Orleans band called Cowboy Mouth. LO totally dug it. Might go to another in later July to see Robert Randolph and the Family Band.

Robert Randolph and the Family Band are phenomenal! He's a big-time favorite for my husband and me.

So far this year, our little one has "seen" Bruce Springsteen, Fleetwood Mac, Bon Jovi, and Pink. We're heading to Mary J. Blige next week and Pearl Jam and Beyonce in July. Can't wait!

I saw New Order and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. The casino my husband works for has an outdoor concert series by the pool from March to October ago I can see free concerts every week if I want...yay! I can't wait for MGMT at the end of august. It will be my post babies outing.

I am jealous! I am a CO native and concerts at Red Rocks are the best!!' I keep waiting for Willie Nelson to come back so I can finally see him in the best concert place in CO. I don't have any concerts planned. My MIL wants me to go see Rascal Flats at Cheyenne Frontier Days at the end if July....I told her that someone would have to pay me to attend and have my ears bleed for hours. :.

My little man has been to three country concerts so far! I swear he will come out singing country songs, lol. He has been to Little Big Town, Carrie Underwood, and most recently (this past Saturday) Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, and Cole Swindell!!!!!

I don't think I will make it to any concerts this year. We looked at the schedule at Red Rocks, but it does not look like we will get there before LO arrives. I had wanted to see Steve Miller Band or possibly the comedian Brian Regan. I have always wanted to go to Film On The Rocks.

I'd LOVE to and have always wanted to but the only band I pay to see, nickelback, isn't touring right now.
