Offered Langely AFB housing

Hi, does anyone have any insight about living on base at the newer built Langley base housing? We are Navy and were offered housing after being on the waiting list and we just don't know if there are more pros than cons to living on base versus a larger house off base. We have also never lived on base housing so we have nothing to compare it to. Any advice on living there is appreciated. Thanks!
