Another dad update.

I left the hospital yesterday and my dad was doing awesome. He had air in his chest but they thought it would go away on its own. Well it didn't. My mom just called and they had to put a chest tube in. Someone who I was talking to the other day had a chest tube (they put in through your side) said it hurts like HELL!!! Worse pain they have ever felt. He will probably have it in for about 3 days they said! Ugh! This sucks. I wish I could take his place so he didn't have to go through all this pain. :(

    I'm glad to hear he is doing well!  My dad said the same thing about the tube in his side.  It's sad, but does the trick.

     So how's your pregnancy going?  I hope you're not stressin too much. : )

    Oh that sucks about the chest tube.  Luckily they most likely gave him good meds when putting it in.  The breathing tube and the chest tubes seem to be thing that bother people the most.

    Hope it does the trick and he gets it out soon.

    married!

    Glad I finally caught you!  I'm sorry I wasn't able to check in sooner.  My computer had a virus and I had to take it in for repair.  I "checked on you" as soon as I got it back and one of the ladies, momofolivia I think, gave me an update on your dad.

    Thanks for keeping us in the loop with everything.  And don't forget, I have 2 "go-to" people in case you need any extra info.  In the meantime, I'm glad to hear that your father came through the surgery OK and despite this little setback, that he's doing OK overall.  I will continue to keep him, you, and the family in my prayers!  Continue to keep us posted.
