Painful Sex...STILL

Ok....7 months has passed and I still can't DTD without almost crying. IT is SO painful. I had a second degree tear....im assuming theres an issue with scar tissue. Does anyone still have this issue? Or has anyone had their scar tissue corrected...or whatnot??

Could be a scar tissue thing. Did they notice anything at your last check up? I remember a few people who got a steroid cream to help

its just starting to feel better now for me but my DH only goes half way in.... not sure when that will get better

I bet it's scar tissue...see your dr. They can easily remove it in most cases...it was not painful for me to have it removed. I had a 3rd degree tear and had scar tissue removed a month ago. They also gave me estrogen cream which helped a lot. Ask your dr because they see these issues all the time. No need to suffer! Good luck-

It was painful until a year. I have no idea why, I mentioned it to my dr and she just said probably because I was extra dry from nursing. Sex didn't get pleasureable again until I weaned, though I was 8 weeks pregnant at that point. I dont hurt this time around, though I'm so sleep deprived we still aren't doing anything. Hopefully your dr has a better answer for you.
